About Me

Although I was born in Derby, England in 1969 I mostly grew up in Suffolk, until I left to attend Reading University in Berkshire in 1987.
The course I studies was "Cybernetics" - sounds kinda cool, mostly robotics and computing.
After graduating in 1990 I stayed in Reading and gravitated towards software development.
In 2004 the startup company I was working for offered me the opportunity to relocate to the USA which I jumped at. Although I've since switched to yet another startup, I'm still living in San Jose, California, enjoying the better weather...
